Sara Magenheimer

Sara Magenheimer is a New York–based artist who works across a range of media, including video, sound, performance, sculpture, collage, and installation. She has had solo exhibitions at the New Museum, the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art, the Kitchen, and elsewhere. Her videos have been screened at the Flaherty Seminar, the International Film Festival Rotterdam, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the New York Film Festival, the Images Festival, Anthology Film Archives, and elsewhere. Her first book of writing, Beige Pursuit, was published by Wendy’s Subway in October 2019.
