A. L. Kennedy

A. L. Kennedy has won a variety of UK and international book awards, including a Lannan Literary Award, the Costa Book of the Year Award, and the Heinrich Heine Prize. She has written nine novels, six short-story collections, three books of nonfiction, and three books for children. She also writes for the stage, the screen, TV, and radio, and performs occasionally in one-person shows and as a stand-up comic.
